ফিল্টারেশন বা পরিশোধন (Filtration)
কিডনির ভেতরে লক্ষ লক্ষ ক্ষুদ্র ইউনিট আছে যাদের নেফ্রন (Nephron) বলা হয়। প্রতিটি নেফ্রনের শুরুতে একটি ছোট কৈশিক জালিকা থাকে যার নাম গ্লোমেরুলাস (Glomerulus)।
